I hope you're having a wonderful day.
Every Thursday and Sunday on my Facebook group Kim's Angelic Kreations, I post a project that I made that was inspired by something I've seen online, an idea that came to me, a crafty video I've seen or a project that was done by another crafter.
Today's project, which will be posted in my group tomorrow, was inspired by a card made by a very dear friend of mine whom I consider my "Crafty Brother" and who's an amazing crafter, Gareth Frewer.
Here is Gareth's card:
Here is my take on his card:
I made a white card base and covered it with a piece of blue cardstock from Close to My Heart.
For the fence, I cut a piece of white cardstock 4 1/4 by 2 inches and scored it every half inch to give it the feel of a fence. I then went over it with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Weathered Wood and Peeled Paint. I stamped the bunnies and carrots from Maymay Made It's "Hare Peeking" stamp set and fussy cut them out. I colored the bunnies' ears and nose with a pink Prismacolor pencil and colored the carrots with Copic Markers YR04, Chrome Orange and G07, Nile Green. I attached the carrots with foam tape for some dimension. I love how it looks like the bunny on the right is holding the carrot with its paw!
The 3 flowers at the bottom were punched with a flower punch from Ki Memories and I added pearls from Gareth's store, G's Embellishment Emporium, to the centers.
I hope you enjoy today's project and thank you so much for stopping by.
What a brilliant idea to score it, I never thought of that, I will deffo do that next!! Great card my Crafting Sister!
